…it sounds really good. The picture showed the fat droplets you were talking about, I’ve always thought the grease adds a nice full mouth-feel. Yummy….

Found your food blog on google. Great site!

Have you tried Himawaru in San Mateo?

I totally agree with you Tanspace - Ramen Halu is a special place. Sorry I didn’t make it down for the pumpkin ramen at Halloween this year… I love the egg!

Yes, Ramen Halu is the best - only downside is that it’s small and if you don’t get there 15 min. before they open, you have to wait! I love the egg…

I’ve tried Himawari a few times. I like their stewed pork but not the noodle as much.

I love your blog. I just happened upon it after googling for xiao long bao. As a native Shandongren (Shandongyin in our dialect), I have only been able to find a couple places in the Bay that have satisfied my need for noodles and dumplings outside of my mom’s kitchen. Thanks for all your efforts!

BTW, I’m currently in Wendeng, Shandong visiting family. Can’t wait to get back to SF to try out all the newfound eats.
